DESCRIPTION:📅 July 17–18\, 2026📍 Mi’kmaw Centre & Mawio’mi Grounds\, 811 Oceanview Drive\, Cape St. George\, NL \nExperience two days of Mi’kmaw culture\, music\, dance\, food\, crafts\, and community at the Penwaaq L’nu’k 2026 Mawio’mi in Cape St. George. \nThe event will feature traditional and contemporary entertainment\, public dances\, drumming performances\, family garden parties\, artisans\, handmade crafts\, food vendors\, and special guest performers. \nHighlights include performances by the Flat Bay Strong Women Drummers and Spirit Bay Drummers\, along with a variety of cultural activities throughout the weekend. \n🕘 Grounds open daily from 9:00 AM🌧️ In the event of rain\, activities will move indoors. \nHosted by the Cape St. George Mi’kmaw Women’s Council\, Elders Council\, & Youth Council. \n📞 709-272-2085🌐 www.benoitfirstnation.ca
