By Car:

 

From mainland Canada, take the Marine Atlantic Ferry from North Sydney, Nova Scotia. The passenger and car ferry has many amenities onboard including food, drink and a place to lay your head for the night on overnight crossings. You’ll disembark in Part aux Basques, the gateway to Southwestern Newfoundland.

 

If you’re already in Newfoundland, just follow Route 1 (Trans Canada Highway) west.
